A sound bath is an immersive, full-body experience using sound vibrations that result in profound relaxation and ultimately, healing.

Participants typically lie down comfortably and are "bathed" in sound waves created by various instruments.

We hear the sound with our ears… However, as the vibrations fill the space, our bodies, (c.60% water) increasingly become resonant! The sound is felt by the body. It's called "bath” as it accurately conveys the image of a  full-body experience.

The instruments commonly used in a sound bath include Himalayan and crystal singing bowls, chimes, tuning forks, drums, the human voice, and of course, gongs!

The sounds created are not like typical music with a catchy melody. Instead, they produce sustained tones, overtones, and vibrations. These frequencies shift brainwaves from an active, waking state (Beta) into more relaxed or meditative states (Alpha, Theta, or even Delta).
